Tony Valentino detroit, michigan
After hearing some sound samples from Tony Valentino's indie blues CD, People, I Got 'em Bad, this writer surfed her fingers to the bone, with little success, to find out more about him. His CD is raw and it's covers, but it has that delectable funky sound that only a true blues lover can appreciate.
Van Wilks
austin, texas
Critically acclaimed guitarist Van Wilks has spent three decades delivering his brand of Texas blues rock in tours around the world. Visit his official website for bio info, photos, and sound that begins the moment you surf in.
Stevie Ray Vaughan
blues heaven | born in dallas, texas
When Stevie Ray first started playing the blues, it is said that he told blues legend Albert King that he wanted to learn to play like him.  King cautioned Vaughan not to copy him, but to find his own style, which is ironic in the face of the innumerable contemporary guitarists who now attempt to replicate Vaughan note for note.  A true innovator who justly earned his reputation as a monster bluesman, Vaughan reputedly never played a song the same way twice.
